With the four together, Sasuke names the group Hebi, “snake”, and gives it a single goal: find and kill Itachi. Karin is a sensor who locates chakra at great distances; she also heals her teammates by letting them bite her. Suigetsu, of the Hōzuki clan, can liquefy his body and wants to collect the swords of the Seven Swordsmen. Jūgo brings brute strength and the ability the curse marks came from. Sasuke holds them together more by authority than affection, and the friction between Karin and Suigetsu never stops. In the search for Itachi the group splits up to check Akatsuki hideouts, and Jūgo throws off Konoha's trackers by handing out Sasuke's clothes to birds.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-365","pos":365},{"h":"From Hebi to Taka","t":"After the fight with Itachi and what Tobi tells him, Sasuke awakens the Mangekyō and renames the group Taka, “hawk”. The goal is no longer Itachi but Konoha. Taka presents itself to the Akatsuki and agrees to capture the Eight-Tails in exchange for help. In Kumogakure it learns Killer B's whereabouts, faces him with difficulty and carries him off after hitting him with Amaterasu. What they deliver turns out to be a decoy: B escaped, leaving a tentacle in his place. Jūgo offers to hold them off and Suigetsu stays with him, while Sasuke takes Karin to track down Danzō. At the end of the fight, Danzō takes Karin hostage and Sasuke runs her through to reach him. Tobi suggests finishing her off, and Sakura arrives in time to see the scene. Karin ends up in Team 7's hands and is taken to Konoha as a prisoner; Suigetsu and Jūgo end up captured. They find Sasuke just as he decides to learn the whole truth, and go with him when he revives Orochimaru and travels to Konoha to talk with the former Hokage. Karin rejoins them in the village. On the front, the group changes roles: Orochimaru, Suigetsu and Karin help heal Tsunade, who has been cut in two, and Jūgo receives chakra from Naruto. Suigetsu looks after Mitsuki in his early days, and with Karin he helps Sarada's team in the search for Shin; on that trip a DNA test of Suigetsu's causes a misunderstanding about Sarada's mother that Karin clears up. In the anime they also reappear together to help Jūgo and Sumire against an outbreak of curse marks.
