It runs through several enemies in a single thrust and, when the thread is pulled taut, leaves them bound as if stitched together. A skilled bearer throws it through a line of opponents, catches it on the other side and repeats from another angle until bodies are knotted together. The thread and the user's precision are everything: if the thread is cut or the needle dodged, the advantage is lost.","lvl":1},{"h":"Kushimaru in the war","t":"Kushimaru Kuriarare, from the previous generation of swordsmen, is its bearer. Tall, hooded and with his face covered, he appears revived with the Impure World Reincarnation in the Fourth War: Mangetsu Hōzuki opens the scroll where Kabuto kept the swords and returns Nuibari to him. Suigetsu describes the weapon to Kakashi's division while looking for his own sword. Mangetsu had also mastered this sword in life. Kushimaru moves silently within the mist and tries to hook several opponents at once, true to the way he fought in life.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-523","pos":523},{"h":"The heartless pair","t":"The anime gives Kushimaru a fight of his own: with Jinpachi Munashi he forms the “heartless pair” and faces Kakashi and Guy. In that version, Kushimaru and his partner move hidden in the mist and attack in coordination, as they did in life. Kakashi and Guy end up neutralizing them, and Kushimaru is sealed. After the war, the sword returns to Kirigakure. When the fight is over, Kakashi and Guy head back to the front: neither keeps the sword, which is lost again until the end of the war.","lvl":1,"ep":"shippuden-288","pos":544},{"h":"Hebiichigo","t":"In the Boruto anime, Hebiichigo takes Nuibari when the New Seven Ninja Swordsmen steal the village's swords. Defeated with the rest of the group, the sword returns to Kirigakure, but later, in a work program to reduce her sentence, Hebiichigo can use it again on a mission. Hebiichigo is a kunoichi who fights with cunning and traps, a style that suits a weapon designed to catch and bind. The arc shows once more that Nuibari depends on the thread: when the opponent cuts or dodges it, the advantage disappears.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-235","pos":758}],"characters":["kushimaru"],"related":["espadachines","siete-espadas"],"reference":"Naruto, chapters 518–520 (the revived Swordsmen in the Fourth War).","sources":[{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Naruto y Shippuden","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"}],"figures":[]}
