It is led by the Hokage, whose faces are carved into the mountain overlooking the streets. At the start of the story the post is held again by Hiruzen, the Third, because the Fourth died stopping the Nine-Tails twelve years earlier. The village keeps a secret by decree: no one may tell the children about the fox sealed in Naruto. That silence explains the looks of rejection Naruto gets without understanding why.","lvl":0,"ch":"naruto-1","pos":1},{"h":"Invasion and succession","t":"During the final of the Chūnin Exam, Orochimaru launches an invasion with the support of the Sand and the Sound. He traps Hiruzen in a barrier and brings back the First and Second Hokage with the Reanimation Jutsu to fight their former student. Hiruzen dies sealing Orochimaru's arms. The village is left without a leader, and Jiraiya sets out with Naruto to find Tsunade, the First's granddaughter. After the clash of the three Sannin, she accepts the post and becomes the Fifth Hokage.","lvl":0,"ch":"naruto-171","pos":171},{"h":"Flattened by Pain","t":"Pain invades Konoha looking for the Nine-Tails. While Naruto trains on Mount Myōboku, the six bodies interrogate and kill ninja in different neighborhoods, until the Deva Path uses an Almighty Push that leaves the village a crater. Naruto returns, defeats the bodies and talks with Nagato, who uses his technique to revive those killed in the invasion before he dies. Tsunade falls into a coma, and the vacancy lets Danzō be named acting Sixth Hokage.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-450","pos":450},{"h":"The founding as told by those who lived it","t":"Hashirama, reanimated, recounts the Warring States era: ninja families hired to fight each other and children dying in battle. He and Madara became friends by the river without knowing they belonged to enemy clans. After years of war and Izuna's death, Madara accepts the truce, and the Senju–Uchiha alliance founds Konoha, which other groups then join. Hashirama is chosen as First Hokage; Madara, distrustful of the Uchiha's future place, leaves and faces him at the Valley of the End.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-626","pos":626},{"h":"Senju, Uchiha and the Rinnegan","t":"The founding alliance does not turn the Senju into an ingredient that guarantees an ocular power. Madara's Rinnegan is explained by his specific ties to Indra and Asura and by his having taken in Hashirama's cells, not by a rule of mixing the blood of two clans. Nor does the founding erase political differences or family wounds: the tensions between the village and the Uchiha persist into later generations and end in tragedy.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-671","pos":671},{"h":"From the Sixth to the Seventh","t":"After the Fourth War, Kakashi becomes the Sixth Hokage and leads the rebuilding. Years later, Naruto fulfills the dream he announced in the first chapter and becomes the Seventh. Konoha goes from a village of low streets to a city with tall buildings, screens and trains, though it keeps the mountain with its leaders' faces. The post is still a political one: the Hokage signs documents, receives reports and answers to the feudal lord and the other Kage.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-700","pos":700},{"h":"The village in Two Blue Vortex","t":"Boruto had already foreshadowed, on its first page, a ruined Konoha where an adult Boruto faces Kawaki. Boruto returns to Konoha facing Code, though much of the village still considers him a fugitive.","lvl":3,"ch":"tbv-1","pos":781}],"characters":["madara","izuna","tajima"],"related":["indra-asura","masacre","anbu","policia-uchiha","kage"],"reference":"Naruto, volume 65, chapters 621–626.","sources":[{"title":"Madara: infancia, Izuna y la fundación de Konoha","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/news/01_1663"}],"figures":[]}
