They channel lightning chakra and are considered the sharpest of the group: the lightning multiplies their cutting power. The lightning comes from the user's chakra. The name matches Kiba Inuzuka's; the article keeps them apart so the weapon is not mixed up with the character. In Part I they appear only in the anime, in the hands of a Mist deserter, and the manga brings them back much later with a different design.","lvl":0},{"h":"Raiga and the funerals","t":"The Kiba debut in a Part I anime filler arc. Raiga Kurosuki, a former Mist swordsman and deserter, rules a stretch of the Land of Rivers with his companion Ranmaru, a boy with special eyes who tells him where his enemies are. Raiga weeps as he kills and says he holds “funerals” for his victims. Naruto faces him to protect Ranmaru, and Raiga dies struck by his own lightning. In that arc the swords had a different design, closer to two ninjatō.","lvl":0,"ep":"naruto-157","pos":238},{"h":"Ameyuri revived","t":"After Raiga's death, the Kiba were left at the bottom of a ravine in the Land of Rivers. Kabuto collects them and stores them in a scroll with other swords, and in the war Mangetsu Hōzuki opens it to hand them out to the revived Seven Swordsmen. The Kiba return to their first known owner, Ameyuri Ringo, now with the manga's design. Mangetsu, who mastered all seven, had also used them in life.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-523","pos":523},{"h":"A gift for Omoi","t":"The anime expands Ameyuri's fight. Trapped in a bottomless swamp after a battle she enjoyed, she gives the Kiba to Omoi, a Kumogakure ninja, as thanks. He is never seen using or carrying them afterward. Once the war is over, the swords return to Kirigakure's vault. Ameyuri, a hot-tempered swordswoman who in life used the Kiba's lightning to run her opponents through, still enjoys combat even revived. Her gesture toward Omoi, who also fights with a lightning sword, is one of the kindest moments of the swordsmen arc, and a scene that is not in the manga.","lvl":1,"ep":"shippuden-289","pos":544},{"h":"Buntan, Raiga's daughter","t":"In the Boruto anime, Buntan Kurosuki, Raiga's daughter, takes the Kiba when the New Seven Ninja Swordsmen steal the village's swords, and faces Sarada with them. Once the group is defeated, Kirigakure recovers them. Later, in a work program to reduce her sentence, Buntan is allowed to wield them again on a mission. Buntan fights in a style different from her father's and seeks, above all, Kirigakure's recognition. Her case shows how the Kiba passed from one generation to the next within the same family.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-235","pos":758}],"characters":["ameyuri","raiga"],"related":["espadachines","siete-espadas","raiton"],"reference":"Naruto, chapters 518–520 (revived Swordsmen); Naruto, anime, Raiga arc.","sources":[{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Naruto y Shippuden","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"}],"figures":[]}
