Minato's team, with Kakashi newly promoted to jōnin, Obito and Rin, is sent to destroy the Kannabi Bridge to cut off Iwagakure's supplies. A group of Stone ninja, specialists in camouflage and Earth Style, kidnaps Rin, and during the rescue a boulder crushes Obito, who gives his Sharingan to Kakashi before being left behind. Minato, meanwhile, wipes out Iwa's reinforcements with his Flying Thunder God. The arc establishes the Stone as Konoha's direct enemy in that war.","lvl":0,"ch":"naruto-244","pos":244},{"h":"Ōnoki and the summit","t":"In Shippūden the village is governed by the Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki, a tiny, grumpy old man who commands Dust Style, a kekkei tōta able to disintegrate anything. He is accompanied by his granddaughter Kurotsuchi and the burly Akatsuchi. Deidara, the Akatsuki's explosive artist, also came from Iwa, having abandoned the village. At the Kage Summit it is admitted that several villages, the Stone included, had hired the Akatsuki in the past for jobs they could not take on publicly. When Sasuke bursts in, Ōnoki tries to disintegrate him with Dust Style, and later agrees, grumbling, to join the Shinobi Alliance.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-469","pos":469},{"h":"The Stone in the Fourth Great Ninja War","t":"The war pits Iwa against its own past. Kabuto uses the Impure World Reincarnation to revive Mū, the Second Tsuchikage and Ōnoki's teacher, who fights his student with invisibility and Dust Style until Naruto and Gaara seal him. Rōshi and Han, the village's former jinchūriki, also return, now controlled with the Rinnegan. Kitsuchi, Ōnoki's son and Kurotsuchi's father, commands the assault division. The central moment comes when Madara Uchiha defeats the Kage: Ōnoki, who had resigned himself to trusting no one, recovers the “will of stone” and gets back up to protect the young.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-575","pos":575},{"h":"Kurotsuchi, Fourth Tsuchikage","t":"In the Boruto era, Kurotsuchi succeeds her grandfather and becomes the Fourth Tsuchikage. She uses lava techniques and keeps the blunt temperament she showed when young. With the other Kage, she attends the Chūnin Exams in Konoha and fights alongside Naruto when Momoshiki and Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki attack the stadium. Ōnoki, now retired, still lives in the village as a respected figure, though weaker and weaker with age. The relationship with Konoha is that of one more ally in the new order of peace, far from the enmity of the Third War.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-8","pos":708},{"h":"Ōnoki's artificial humans","t":"An anime-only arc puts Iwa at the center of a crisis. Ōnoki, obsessed with securing peace beyond his death and marked by the loss of his grandson Kozuchi, secretly creates artificial humans from chakra and skips the Kage meeting. Those beings, led by Kū, end up rebelling and take over the village themselves. Boruto and Sarada, who were looking for Mitsuki, get caught up in the conflict. In the end, Ōnoki defeats Kū with his last effort, and Kurotsuchi thanks the Konoha team for helping recover Iwagakure.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-92","pos":711}],"characters":["onoki","mu","kurotsuchi","akatsuchi","kitsuchi","deidara","roshi","han","son-goku","kokuo","minato","kakashi","obito","rin"],"related":["aldeas","konoha-aldea","suna","doton","jinton","yoton","akatsuki","jinchuriki"],"reference":"Naruto, chapters 239–244, 454–473, 513–575; Boruto, chapters 6–8; Boruto (anime), episodes 71–92","sources":[{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Naruto y Shippuden","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"},{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Boruto","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"},{"title":"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations · Índice de capítulos","url":"https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/boruto"}],"figures":[]}
