He now works for Kara and fights with a body full of scientific tools: he absorbs techniques, fires from his prosthetics and deploys drones. Team 7 faces him after the airship crash, and Mugino dies covering the retreat. Ao embodies the idea of replacing training with ever more powerful parts, which is why Boruto answers that tools should not be used that way. His end comes when Koji Kashin eliminates him so he cannot talk.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-22","pos":722},{"h":"Delta and Boro: combat bodies","t":"Delta arrives in Konoha flying and quickly shows that her body is anything but ordinary: she absorbs Naruto's Rasengan with one eye, regenerates her legs after every blow and fires beams from her eyes. Naruto only beats her by overloading her absorption capacity, and she self-destructs before she can be interrogated. Boro, another Kara Inner, withstands every wound because his life depends on a hidden core; Sarada finds it with the Sharingan and destroys it with a Chidori. Some time later, Shikamaru uses a new Delta as part of a trap, a sign that those bodies can be replaced.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-68","pos":768},{"h":"Koji Kashin, a created ninja","t":"Koji Kashin appears as Kara's most enigmatic member: he uses toads, Rasengan and fire techniques, and acts independently. During his duel with Jigen he claims he was created to kill him, and soon after his true origin and his tie to Amado's work are revealed. His case differs from Delta's or Boro's: he is not an armored body but a ninja manufactured for a specific purpose. The question of what he does once that purpose is fulfilled follows the character through the whole next stage.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-47","pos":747},{"h":"Kawaki and Code: limiters","t":"Kawaki was the only survivor of Kara's experiments to prepare a body compatible with Isshiki, and Amado reminds him that, even without the mark, he still has an adapted Ōtsutsuki body. Code also bears the scientist's handiwork: he wears limiters that hold back his strength, and when Amado removes them on Ada's orders his power surges all at once. The series uses this idea to show that, in Kara, a member's body can be tuned like a machine. That someone can release or rein in that power from outside makes Amado as useful as he is dangerous.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-70","pos":770},{"h":"Ada, Daemon and Shibai's cells","t":"Ada and Daemon arrive with Amado, and he ends up explaining where their powers come from: he created them from Shibai Ōtsutsuki's cells, as part of a project tied to his wish to get back his daughter Akebi. Ada's charm, her Senrigan and Daemon's ability to return harm are not clan talents or learned techniques, but the result of that lab work. Later, Ada's Omnipotence changes the memory of almost the whole world, and the reach of what Amado put into their bodies becomes plain.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-79","pos":779},{"h":"Victor and Deepa in the anime","t":"The anime adds its own plot of altered bodies. Victor, the owner of a company in the Land of Valleys, secretly works with Kara and experiments on people; Deepa, one of his allies, fights with a reinforced metal body that crushes Boruto and Sarada in their first encounter. Konohamaru and Mugino investigate the company, Orochimaru steps in to stop Victor, and Team 7 beats Deepa with a combined Rasengan. This entire arc is anime-only and not part of the manga.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-175","pos":715},{"h":"Kawaki without limiters","t":"In Two Blue Vortex, Kawaki demands that Amado unlock all his power, and the scientist agrees. With the limiters removed, Kawaki even faces Jura, one of the Divine Trees, in a fight meant to buy time. The change confirms that his body is still ground for scientific modification even after losing the Kāma, and that Amado keeps a control over him few in the village could match.","lvl":3,"ch":"tbv-23","pos":803}],"characters":["ao","delta","boro","kashin-koji","kawaki","code","amado","eida","daemon","victor","deepa"],"related":["kara","herramientas-cientificas-ninja","trasplantes","karma","herramientas","otsutsuki"],"reference":"Boruto, manga, chapters 17–22, 31–34, 39–48, 59, 68–79; anime, episodes 158–175; Two Blue Vortex, chapters 17–24.","sources":[{"title":"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations · Índice de capítulos","url":"https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/boruto"},{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Boruto","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"},{"title":"Boruto: Two Blue Vortex · Índice de capítulos","url":"https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/boruto-two-blue-vortex"}],"figures":[]}
