The hook pierces defenses, snags the victim and draws out their chakra, which he stores in a gourd. With that chakra he copies the owner's techniques, such as Gaara's sand. His name alludes to Urashima Tarō, the fisherman of the Japanese folktale. It is one Ōtsutsuki's weapon, not the whole family's.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-53","pos":701},{"h":"At the Chūnin Exams","t":"Before Momoshiki and Kinshiki attack, Urashiki appears in the anime during the Chūnin Exams and uses the rod to draw chakra from several shinobi. He also blocks Chōjūrō with it. He had already used the rod on the Moon, where he freezes Toneri Ōtsutsuki, and his presence foreshadows the arrival of the other two. His appearance on the Moon is the anime's first hint that other members of the clan are out hunting chakra on Earth.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-62","pos":706},{"h":"After the jinchūriki","t":"Later, Urashiki seeks tailed beast chakra for the Divine Tree. In the Sunagakure arc he tries to fish out Shukaku's chakra and faces Gaara, Shinki and Boruto. The rod lets him attack at range and steal techniques, but the theft has conditions: the target has to be hooked, and drained chakra can be recovered. Gaara and his people hold out, and Urashiki leaves without Shukaku's chakra, but he already has another jinchūriki in his sights: Naruto.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-125","pos":711},{"h":"A trip to the past","t":"Urashiki travels to the past to steal Kurama's chakra from a young Naruto. Boruto and Sasuke follow him and team up with that era's Naruto and Team 7. With the rod and his stolen techniques, Urashiki pushes them to the ropes, but Boruto and Naruto together defeat him, and the memories of those from the past are erased. That arc also shows he can turn into a crane, another reference to Urashima Tarō, and that he knows how to use traps to buy time. Neither the rod nor the stolen techniques are enough against father and son fighting together.","lvl":2,"ep":"boruto-135","pos":711}],"characters":["urashiki"],"related":["otsutsuki","chakra","shinjutsu"],"reference":"Boruto, anime, Urashiki arcs (episodes 120–136).","sources":[{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Boruto","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"}],"figures":[]}
