The villages admit that they used the Akatsuki for their own ends in the past, and Danzō reports that the organization's leader calls himself Madara Uchiha. Mifune, the samurai general moderating the meeting, proposes an alliance. The session is interrupted by Sasuke's arrival and Tobi's appearance, who declares war. With that common enemy, the Kage choose the Raikage as commander in chief of the new force.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-469","pos":469},{"h":"Preparations","t":"The feudal lords approve the Alliance, and Tsunade, just awake from her coma, retakes command of Konoha to prepare. One of the first decisions is to hide Naruto and Killer B on a distant island that is really a giant turtle: the jinchūriki are the enemy's target and the command prefers to keep them out of the fighting. Tobi responds by showing an army of a hundred thousand White Zetsu, and Kabuto joins in with his revived dead. The Alliance then grasps the true scale of the war.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-512","pos":512},{"h":"Organization","t":"The army brings together ninja from the five villages and samurai, split into divisions. The Raikage is the supreme commander and Shikaku Nara the chief strategist at headquarters; Inoichi Yamanaka centralizes information and relays orders from mind to mind. On the front there are five combat divisions: the first under Darui, the second under Kitsuchi, the third under Kakashi, the fourth under Gaara, who also commands the front, and the fifth under Mifune. Special units are added, such as Kankurō's Surprise Attack Division. Before setting out, Gaara gives a speech that unites ninja who had been enemies for generations.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-516","pos":516},{"h":"The war at the front","t":"The Impure World Reincarnation puts the Alliance face to face with old comrades and former Kage. The divisions seal the revived, unmask Zetsu posing as allies and protect the feudal lords. When Madara appears, the five Kage gather to face him. When the Ten-Tails arrives, the whole Alliance rushes to Naruto's side and Shikaku coordinates the attack telepathically. A Tailed Beast Ball destroys headquarters and kills Shikaku and Inoichi, who manage to pass on a last plan. Naruto then shares Kurama's chakra among all the ninja.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-616","pos":616},{"h":"The Infinite Tsukuyomi","t":"When the Ten-Tails turns into the Divine Tree, it absorbs the Alliance's chakra and leaves many ninja at their limit. Soon after, the moon reflects the Infinite Tsukuyomi and almost the entire army is trapped in dreams; only those Sasuke covers with his Susanoo are spared. The Alliance spends the war's final stage wrapped in the tree's cocoons, connected to it. Only when Naruto and Sasuke undo the technique do the ninja of the five villages wake up.","lvl":1,"ch":"naruto-699","pos":699},{"h":"What remains of the Alliance","t":"After the war, cooperation between villages continues. In the Boruto era the five Kage still coordinate, and when Momoshiki and Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki abduct Naruto during the Chūnin Exams, the other villages' Kage cross the portal with Sasuke and Boruto to rescue him. The Alliance no longer exists as a war army, but the habit of acting together is its most visible legacy. The Kage also meet in regular councils and share information about common threats.","lvl":2,"ch":"boruto-7","pos":707}],"characters":["raikage-cuarto","mifune","gaara","shikaku","inoichi","darui","kitsuchi","kakashi","kankuro","tsunade","mei","onoki"],"related":["aldeas","kage","akatsuki","edo-tensei","tsukuyomi-infinito","bijuu","konoha-aldea"],"reference":"Naruto, chapters 458–469, 488–699; Boruto, chapters 6–8.","sources":[{"title":"Guía oficial de anime: Naruto y Shippuden","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/anime"},{"title":"Shikamaru: sombras, Shikaku e Ino–Shika–Chō","url":"https://naruto-official.com/en/news/01_1910"}],"figures":[]}
